CTF Newsletter – March 25th, 2015

In 2013, the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund (WCTF) provided nearly $13000 for archaeological survey work on the Moriah Ranch, which is located approximately 80 miles due north of Laramie. The property was purchased by the state in 2012, with a stipulation that education be one component of public use of the ranch. Our application for WCTF funding outlined archaeological survey work involving students who would be provided hands-on training in various archaeological field techniques; survey, recordation, site forms, etc.
